It's our birthday!

Wilmslow Youth is 3 years old this month. From ROC Café, to Scope, lunch clubs, community events, one to one support, parenting evenings and everything else, we've loved seeing this community grow. We asked the young people what they liked about being part of Wilmslow Youth.

Here's what they said:

And obviously, food made an important appearance:

It's been a great first 3 years, and it's thanks to everyone from our volunteers to our partners who have helped to grow this work for young people. Here's to the next 3!

We're delighted to be able to say that our partnership project with Just Drop-In and Cre8 will continue for another year, thanks to the support of Cheshire Community Foundation.

This is the partnership that brings free-to-access counselling to young people in Wilmslow, in the same building as ROC Café. Through the project we aim to address the fact that support is often hardest to access for those who need it most, and make sure that everyone has free access to help in their home community.

Scope Workshops

This half term we've been looking at healthy relationships during our Scope workshops. The sessions have explored friendships, family life, dating, and life online. The final session next week will look at community as a whole, and will also host our ROC Conversation Action Group, where we discuss some of the themes that came out of our community conversation earlier in the year and think about how we can have a positive impact on our local town.

That's all for now

Have a fantastic Summer!
